About Us
BACKGROUND
History of Postgraduate work at Lagos State University, Ojo, Lagos, Nigeria began in 1991/92 academic session. It started with an Acting Dean, Professor Avoseh (who was also the Deputy Vice-Chancellor). There were 11 members of the Postgraduate School Board then. It started with Masters Programmes in all the four Departments of Faculty of Education and Masters in Public Administration i.e. only two Faculties. In 2008/2009, all the Faculties and College of Medicine now run postgraduate programmes (academic and professional).
OUR VISION
To be an outstanding postgraduate school not only in Nigeria but in the rest of Africa and rank among the best in the world. The school would be centre of excellence for production of staff, consultants and graduates for the state and country.
OUR MISSION
To produce and use brilliant academic staff to deliver high quality lectures, seminars and practicals to all who attend the postgraduate school programmes.OBJECTIVES
To provide highly organized and well structured research and academic activities that can ensure the high level manpower needs of the state, country and world at large.

in a specific area.
