Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the vacant position of Deputy Librarian (Readership Position) and Principal Librarian (Senior Lectureship Position) in the University, Ojo.

1 DEPUTY UNIVERSITY LIBRARIAN (READERSHIP POSITION): HATISS 14
Candidates must possess a good honours degree, and a master’s degree in Librarianship, with at least 13 years’ experience in an academic Library. (Possession of a Ph.D. in Library and Information Science will be an advantage)

Candidates must possess commendable leadership qualities and administrative ability, knowledge of computer applications in an academic Library is essential. Recognized publications AND evidence of research are required.

2 PRINCIPAL LIBRARIAN (SENIOR LECTURESHIP POSITION): HATISS 13
Candidates must have a good first degree and a master’s degree in Librarianship, with at least 10 years’ experience in an academic Library. (Possession of a Ph.D in Library and Information Science will be an advantage).

Candidates must possess good Human Relations and ability to work as a team. Knowledge of Computer applications in an academic library is essential. Recognized publications and evidence of research are required.

• Be computer literate
