The Admissions Unit of the University hereby publishes the comprehensive list of the performance of candidates who sat for the Third Round of 2006/2007 Post UME Screening Test called Change of University. This third round process deals strictly with limited vacancies which were clearly stated and enumerated, on the internet and some selected National newspapers, before the screening tests took place.
Please note that the list of candidates selected on merit and on the basis of advertised limited vacancies in some academic units, will be published within the next couple of days on the University website (www.lasunigeria.org) and in some selected national newspapers.
However, candidates who registered and sat for this third round (Change of University) have been categorized into the following segments:
1. Candidates with Results in Alphabetical Order.
This list contains the detailed scores of candidates in alphabetical order and according to academic units that declared limited vacancies. These scores, for 100 level candidates, include WAEC/NECO, JAMB and LASU Post UME Screening Test. With regards to Direct Entry (200) level candidates, only WAEC/NECO and Post UME scores are included. Click here for Direct entry list and here for the UME list.
2. Results on Order of Merit.
On the basis of (1), these candidates have been categorized on the order of merit. The order of merit is the outcome of the following criteria:
a. 100 Level Candidates.
- WAEC/NECO - 25%
- JAMB - 25%
- LASU Post UME Screening Test - 50%
b. 200 Level (Direct Entry) Candidates.
- WAEC/NECO - 25%
- LASU Post UME Screening Test - 75%
- No Scores are awarded for diploma/certificate and first university degree. These diploma, certificate and first university degree only justify that the affected candidates can proceed into 200 level provided they satisfy the criteria at the level of WAEC/NECO and LASU Post UME Screening Tests.
c. Disqualified Candidates.
Please find below different categories of candidates disqualified and therefore they have no results. These categories are:
- Candidates who shaded wrong Mode of Entry. Click here for the list.
- Candidates with double Registration. The list is available here.
- Candidates who wrote the same Post UME Test twice.Click here for the list.
- Candidates with invalid registration.Click here for the list.
- Candidates who sat for the just concluded 28th April, 2007 JAMB Examination. This current admission exercise ONLY recognizes candidates who sat for the April/May 2006 JAMB Examination with a minimum score of 200 points.Click here for the list
- Candidates who provided, during their online registration, false and inconsistent WAEC/NECO and JAMB results. The list is available here.
Conclusion
- Once more, the list of candidates given provisional admission into some academic units with limited vacancies will soon be published. As expected, only candidates with an aggregate score of 50% will be considered. These criteria are not negotiable.
- Even those with 50% aggregate score will in turn be ranked and accorded provisional admission on the basis of declared limited vacancies.
